How long does a TAN and SUN cartridge last?
One TAN cartridge is usually sufficient for about 3 full-body applications. According to EN ISO 24444, a quantity of 2 mg per cm² of skin is recommended for adults. To maintain sun protection, you should reapply every 2 hours. Consumption therefore depends on body size, duration and frequency of sunbathing, and you can use the ‘Guided Spraying’ function in the IONIQ Skincare app to determine your personal quantity and spraying time based on body size and weight. The fill level in the app dashboard shows you whether an open cartridge is still sufficient for an application as soon as you have connected the sprayer. One application requires at least 30m

What do I need to consider when applying IONIQ TAN?
- Before the application, the skin should be exfoliated with a shower scrub or our BODY Scrub and then dried. The IONIQ Skincare app calculates the ideal spraying time needed to give each body part an even application. During the application, you should maintain a distance of approximately 20-40 centimetres between the IONIQ ONE Sprayer and your skin. There is no need to rub it in with your hands
- After the TAN has absorbed completely into the skin, you can put your clothes back on around 10 minutes later. The overall tan will take 6 to 8 hours to develop and remain on the skin for 7–9 days.
- After application, the sprayer should be cleaned with the included CLEAN cartridge.
